Additionally,
several jurisdictions (i.e. states) in the United States have provisions
allowing for multi-jurisdictional practice whereby an attorney licensed in
another jurisdiction may provide on a temporary basis legal services when such services arise out of or are reasonably related to the
attorney's practice in the jurisdiction in which the attorney is licensed, and
when such services draw upon the attorney's recognized expertise developed
through the regular practice of law on behalf of clients in matters involving a
particular body of federal, nationally-uniform, foreign, or international law.
Therefore, since the international trade and business legal services provided
herein draw upon a recognized expertise developed through a regular practice of
law that encompasses particular bodies of federal, nationally-uniform, foreign
and international law, and arise out of and are reasonably related to the
provision of such legal services in Texas, the international trade and business
legal services provided herein are able to be provided on a temporary basis in
those jurisdictions other than Texas that allow for
multi-jurisdictional practice. Further, legal services provided herein
encompassing matters before a U.S. federal regulatory agency or issues involving
U.S. federal law may be provided to any
person or entity residing in any jurisdiction within or outside of the United
States. |
